Final Month to Donate to the Memorial Fund

On October 15, 2011 the memorial fund will be closed. The Nathaniel Shears Memorial Fund was set up to help off-set the memorial services. Additional funds received have been placed in a college fund for Matthew Shears. Should you wish to continue to contribute to Matthew's college fund, contact Ruth Jarrett for details. SHEARS- Nathaniel E. Shears, (30) died July 15th surrounded by family and friends. Raised in Pasadena he attended Blair High and was an IBEW electrician. He enjoyed rock climbing and will be remembered for his big grin, kind heart and love of family and friends. He is survived by his fiancee, son, siblings, nieces, nephews and parents. Memorial Service - July 23, 2011, 11:00am

Please join us as we celebrate Nate's life at Life Bible Fellowship Church in Upland, California. Reception immediately following the service at the church. To honor Nate please wear a Hawaiian shirt instead of black. Nate would want us to celebrate his life rather than his death.

Introduction

On Friday, July 15, 2011, Nate was driving to work on highway 138 in Palmdale and was killed in an automobile accident. This was just two weeks before his wedding. He left behind his fiance Ruth, his six-year old son, Matthew, two grieving parents and four siblings. While we are obviously devistated by the loss, we also celebrate that he is in a better place and look forward to seeing him again in heaven. Please keep Ruth, Matthew and his family in your prayers as they work through the grieving process.
